Light as a Subject

For this project, we had to make light our subject. I think this was one of the hardest projects I have ever done. For the first picture, I had to take a time of day series. This one was taken at seven in the morning. I added a lens flare on a layer mask, and I think it added a lot to the whole picture.  I also used many layer masks to make the house a little darker, and change the color of the sky twice.

For the second picture, we had to creatively use our flash, and more layer masks. I used multiple layer masks to make the background darker and my cat, Tiger, stand out more. I made the levels adjustments on each layer mask work on different parts of the picture.

For the last picture, I edited the first one a much different way. When I used the layer masks on this picture, I made the sky orange on one, and on the other layer mask, I hid the orange and made the rest of the sky blue.
